bolt is now offering employer-funded automatic enrollment in smartphone protection to all employees free of charge. bolt’s smartphone protection benefits cover cracks, damages, and mechanical failures of your or a family member’s phone. As smartphones have become essential to everyday life, we believe protecting them is more important than ever to stay connected.

How it Works

Enrollment in bolt’s smartphone protection plan is automatic and comes at no additional cost to you. bolt smartphone protection covers up to 2 claims in a calendar year with a $1,000 maximum per claim and $2,000 per year. All you need to do is submit a claim using the Start your claim button above and pay a deductible based on the value of your phone and whether it is repairable or needs replacement.

Question About Your Program

If you haven’t activated your account, log in with your company email address and create a password. You will then need to register your device using the phone’s IMEI and upload a wireless bill showing that this device was on an active wireless network at the time of the incident.

Your device IMEI can be found on the device under settings, or by logging into your wireless carrier account and viewing your devices.

You must report your claim within 30 days from when the incident occurred.

Once your claim has been approved, you will be directed to one of bolt’s preferred repair vendors. You may also take the device to a repair provider of your choice. Be sure to save your receipt and upload it to the claims site to be reimbursed.

We will ship you a replacement device. If your device cannot be replaced, bolt may chose to issue a cash reimbursement for the value of your claimed device.

We strive to replace your device with an exact model match. If we cannot match the model, you may receive a device that is like-kind and quality. Device color & model may be different.

You will receive a return label with your replacement device. Place the return label on the box, put the device inside, seal it, and drop it into any USPS mailbox.

Claims may be fulfilled with new or reconditioned equipment. Reconditioned equipment may have minor cosmetic flaws. If the exact model is not available, the replacement will be of like kind and quality. This coverage may provide a duplicate of other sources of coverage.
